The Character of Jesus - UNCONCERNED WITH POPULARITY
Read Mark 8:11-13.
"And sighing deeply in His spirit, He said, 'Why does this generation seek for a sign? Truly I say to you, no sign shall be given to this generation.'" (v. 12)
Jesus was asked to do miracles to prove Himself. People followed Him in order to see those miracles. He was more focused on God and His work than on His own popularity.
I am very concerned about what people think about me. I need to be more concerned about what God's agenda is than about my own popularity.
