The Character of Jesus - CHALLENGING OTHERS

Read Mark 8:1-10.

"And He was asking [His disciples], 'How many loaves do you have?' And they said, 'Seven.'" (v. 5)

Jesus could have sent the hungry masses away. He could have provided manna from heaven. He chose, instead, to let the disciples take part in the miracle. By challenging them to see what they had to offer, He showed them what they could do to meet the need.

I need to allow others--challenge others--to meet impossible needs with God's blessing; to actively pray with me and seek to meet the need.
